Mineral Wells Trailway

The Mineral Wells Trailway has 4 trailheads for access onto the Trailway. The Trailhead in Weatherford starts at Cartwright Park, next to Sunshine Lake, and winds through beautiful countryside, over the Brazos River, past Mineral Wells Lake, and finishes in downtown Mineral Wells. You can also access the trails from Mineral Wells State Park and Garner. Mineral Wells State Park also has a wonderful variety of outdoor activities sure to please, such as rock climbing, hiking, boating and camping.
There is ample parking available at each Trailhead and a map and restrooms are provided at the Trailhead and at certain stops along the way. The Trailway is open from 6AM to 10 PM, weather permitting.
Trailway access fees per person are as follows:
Hiking and biking: Adults $2.00; Seniors and children 12 and under $1.00 ea.
Equestrian: Adults $4; Seniors and children 12 and under $2.00 ea.
Annual Trailway Passes are also available: Individuals $25.00 & and families $40.00.
