Weatherford TX Weather

In my opinion, the weather in Weatherford TX is better than in the DFW Metroplex as far as storms are concerned. Yes, we have had our share of severe storms, and since our home has a 40 mile view west, we can see them coming. But after living up on this hill for several years now, I have noticed how the storms develop just west of us, and seem to spare Weatherford most of the time. Meanwhile, the same storms cause flash flooding and power outages, or worse, when they cross into Tarrant County. In fact, some of the most severe storms we experienced were when we lived in North Richland Hills before we moved to Weatherford.

As far as average temperature is concerned, the statistics say the average summer temperature is in the 80’s while the average lows are in the 40s, but I’m wondering if those numbers are outdated. We sure seem to have had a lot of 90+ degree days in the past few summers. In fact, I can’t remember the last time we had a day in the 80s! Well, that’s just part of living in Texas, and just another reason to get in the pool. No matter what part of the country you live in, you’ll always have to deal with something.
